Hi Justin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up in a medical-minded household (my mom and aunt were both nurses), I always knew I wanted to be a doctor of some kind. So I kept my grades up, decided pre-med was the right path, and accepted a baseball scholarship at the college I loved the most. In the end, it was a baseball injury that led me to the chiropractic office. I tried everything to get back on the field – trainers, PTs, orthopedics, you name it – but sure enough, a chiropractor saved the day.
After that, I was hooked. I shadowed his office, learned more about it, and fell in love with becoming a chiropractor. In the medical world, it was the only place I followed where the patients were happy to walk in and see their doctor. I’ll never forget the feeling of being in those offices.
After my four years of undergrad, I attended Cleveland Chiropractic University in Overland Park, KS. My first six years of practice were with two partners, who I’m still great friends with today, and I learned a ton about what chiropractic can do. When it was time to branch out on my own, my wife finally gave me the courage. And on February 15th, 2016, we opened Grabouski Chiropractic in the heart of Overland Park, and we’ve been here ever since. We love our practice, amazing patients, and the opportunity to provide chiropractic care to our community.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We’ve been very fortunate. We’ve had incredible support from our friends and family, and our patients have been nothing short of fantastic when referring other people they know to our office. As with any journey, we’ve had some physical health challenges and setbacks, but it’s all a part of the process, and we’re very grateful to be doing what we do.

Our goal at Grabouski Chiropractic is to help our community achieve health and wellness by providing the best modern, gentle, results-driven chiropractic care to patients of all ages. Our goal is always to get to the root of the problem and figure out a way to correct it, so our patients can stop repeatedly suffering from the same issues.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important thing that healthcare offices need to remember is that everyone who walks through your door deserves to be listened to, respected, and treated with kindness. That’s a rare thing these days, but it shouldn’t be. It should be the foundation for everything we do. We’re here to help people.
